Welcome St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish
On July 1, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish in Avon and Ascension Parish in Bradley Beach, officially merged into St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish. Both St. Elizabeth's and Ascension are wonderful communities of faith and they have blended well together. With the intercession of their patron, St. Teresa of Calcutta, may they continue to grow together in faith, hope and charity.
Eucharistic Ministers Needed
If you are interested in bringing communion to Tower Lodge in Wall or the Meridian Sub Acute Facility we could really use your help. It only involves an hour or so of your time and is very rewarding. Call the office 732-681-0512 and leave a message for Sue Durkin. Thank you for considering this valuable ministry.
To request a blessing of your home for the new year, call the office or put a note in the collection basket. A priest or deacon will contact you to arrange for the blessing.
We are joining a new program here at St. Rose called Caregiver Volunteers. Check the bulletin or go on line www.caregivervolunteers.org. Trained volunteers will be available to visit the homebound, give rides to the doctor's or just to listen. Get involved!
